Look at as many of these designers as you can. Take some time to just look at various works. See which styles are interesting to you. Which work moves you? You can go on-line and “google” them. Another good site is here: http://portfolios.aiga.org/ (from here, type the designers name into the upper right search area).
If you see work that you like, put it into a folder for yourself. Start a folder with print outs, xeroxes etc. to help you with your own ideas.
Choose two designers that you really like. Have 2 paragraphs; one about your chosen designers and one about why you like the work. Also a page with few samples of each designer’s work. You will turn these into the drop box on our Canvas site.
Keep this list with you for our future class projects. You will always have inspirational great designers to look at as you design.
Minimum 4 paragraphs, one on each designers background and one each on why you find them of interest. Publish as .pdf file. Name it lastnamefirstinitial-project01.pdf.
