Project 00: Sketchbook

Introduction

Throughout the semester, you'll be spending the first 15 minutes of class doodling in your sketchbook. Turn that sketchbook in during the second class of the second to the last week of classes. The sketchbooks will be returned during on the first class of the last week.

Specification

• Devote the entire sketchbook to this class
• Date every doodle
• Use a soft pencil or pen. Make dark marks on the page, be bold!
• One page per doodle
• Fill the page! Draw off a 1/2 inch or 1 inch border and fill the thing with doodles.
• Sign your sketchbook with your name clearly printed on the front inside page
• Subject matter is whatever catches your fancy, but work with lettering whenever and wherever your can
• Thumbs, roughs, and prep work for exercises and projects don't count as doodles
• Doodles will be counted up at the end of the semester and used for calculating your grade on this project
