Assignment 3: Eight Page Color Brochure

Specifications

• Create a four to eight page brochure for the product or service of your choice.
• Paper size, your choice
• Full bleed
• Four color process color (CYMK) plus one spot color (use it wisely)
• Real headlines and subheads, but you can use lorem ipsum copy for body copy
• Think big, be bold, be creative. This is the keep-it-for-my-portfolio assignment. If you were at an agency, this would be the one that should win a design award.

Brochure Sizes

It's your choice about the size of the brochure, and the number of pages (4 to 8), but there are industry standards for sizes. A good place to review them is at vistaprint. Here's their standard template sizes:

• Bi-fold
• 8.5" x 11" (4 pages, 8.5" x 5.5")
• 9" x 8" (4 pages, 9" x 4")
• 11" x 17" (4 pages, 11" x 8.5")

• Tri-fold
• 8.5" x 11" (6 pages, 11" x 3.6")
• 8.5" x 14" (6 pages, 8.5" x 4.6")
• 9" x 16" (6 pages, 9" x 5.3")
• 11" x 25.5" (6 pages, 11" x 8.5")

• Z-fold
• 8.5" x 11" (6 pages, 11" x 3.6")

Submission Requirements

Package your file according to the directions in the InDesign Help System and name your file: lastname-firstinitial_ assignment3, then archive the newly created folder by zipping it. Your final submission should look something like this: khazar-j_assignment3.zip
