Creation Tools

At top left

• Modify Canvas Tools
• Paint Brushes Menu
• Smudge Tool (Uses paint brushes as smudger)
• Erase Tool (Uses paint brushes as eraser)
• Modify Layers Menu
• Similar to Photoshop layers
• Color

Finger Gestures

• Tap and hold to pick up color
• Tap with two fingers to undo
• Tap with three fingers to redo
• Two/Three fingers and hold with do multiple undo/redo
• Two fingers pinch/spread zoom & rotate
• Quick pinch to return screen to 100% un-rotated
• Three finger scrub to erase whole layer
• Tap and hold on Color circle to “color drop”

Layers

• Background layer: Unlike photoshop, can’t paint on it
• + to add
• Tap to select
• Tap on name again to do a bunch of stuff from menu
• Tap and hold to drag position
• Tap on Check Mark to make invisible/visible
• Swipe left to Lock/Duplicate/Clear
• Tap N for overlay adjustments (new method changes letters)
• Select a layer, then swipe layer beneath to link the two (or more) layers
• Merge by pinching

Editing Tools

At top left

• Gallery
• Actions Menu: Add/Canvas/Share/Video/Prefs/Help
• Prefs (worth looking at ahead of time)
• Right-Hand interface puts sliders on right side. Good for left-handed users
• Dynamic Brush Scaling: On, more naturalistic
• Brush Cursor: On, but its not that useful
• Advanced Cursor Setting...
• Cursor Visibility: Show Both
• Gesture Controls...
• Eyedropper: Tap Button to pick up color (like option in Photoshop)
• Four-Finger tap for full screen General Enable finger painting: Off
